JESSICA LYNN, the divine and much adored New York-born country music singer, songwriter and crossover performer, has released her new single, titled: ‘Love Me That Way’.
We previously described her bright voice as “rosewood and aventurine” and her recent single, titled Now or Never as a “citrusy happy number with a catchy bounce in its bones…”
“‘Love Me That Way’ is one of my favorite songs from my new television concert special on Amazon Prime: Live At Dramatic Hall,” says Jessica.
“I connect so much with [the song] because it is a very good representation of who I am as an artist: a little country, rock, pop, blues, and soul. There is so much passion in a relationship often when things are going wrong and not always when they are going right. I wrote this song about having that same fire ALL of the time.”
This number is a gliding, swish of a boogie with shuffling dabbers of backroom piano strokes, and oozes of gliding guitar. The crystal voice is readable and unbreakable. This is a song of wholehearted resolution. Like her music, it is all about strength and incessant devotion.
‘Love Me That Way’ is out now and available on all digital platforms
